The Insight
Our client was in urgent need of a global technology strategy to address the fast-changing, modernized landscape of the media industry. Not only were application portfolio and licenses missing transparency, but there was also a lack of collaboration between units and regions. The situation: a fragmented tool landscape, a lack of a global PMO, and non-standardized ways of working.
Our Impact
We created the strategy through a technology maturity assessment, which further defined the technology operating model. We derived the collaborative tool landscape through a status quo analysis of ways of working, culture, and potential pain points. Furthermore, we performed an application rationalization, license management and PMO.
A transformation has to align business and technology, realize efficient operations, develop new revenue streams & ensure new ways of working.

The Process
We defined a global technology strategy which aligns business and technology departments. An actionable technology roadmap with 20+ initiatives was developed to support the implementation of the recommended strategy and to establish the new operating model. Additionally, we provided our client with a harmonized tool stack, which supports a more global and digitally enabled collaboration by implementing the O365 suite.
